Backgammon Online: race the computer at four levels
Play backgammon against the computer on Easy, Medium, Hard or Extreme, with hints, undo and six board designs.
Backgammon Online lets you play one of the oldest board games there is, free in your browser. Roll the dice, race your 15 checkers around the board and bear them all off before the computer does.
Four computer levels
Play against the computer on Easy, Medium, Hard or Extreme. Easy is a good place to learn the moves, and Extreme will test anyone.
Help while you learn
- A hint button that suggests a full play for your roll
- Undo, to take back moves until you press Done
- Point numbers on the board, if you want them
Each game stands on its own. Win with a gammon and it counts as 2 points, or a backgammon for 3, shown at the end of the game.

Choose from six board designs, and switch sound and automatic turn ending on or off.
